Cancellations: On full sessions (30 minutes or longer), a full day (24 hours) notice is required to be able to reschedule your session. One reschedule is allowed per full session if given more than a full day notice (24 hours). If a client cancels their session with less than a full day (24 hours) notice, their retainer/deposit is forfeited. In those instances, clients will be required to pay a new retainer fee for a rescheduled session.
Late/Tardiness to sessions: Time will not be made up for late arrivals. Clients time begins at the time their session is booked. If you're 20 minutes late to a session, the session is forfeited, and in order to reschedule the client will be charged a new retainer fee.
Outfits: this is a huge misconception! Nudity counts as an outfit. If you want a newborn photo without clothes, or a boudoir without clothes, the birthday suit is an outfit, and is counted towards your outfit total. Clients are fully responsible for being prepared with their wardrobe, outfits, accessories, and any personal props they are wanting to include. Niki Pickens Photography is not responsible for wardrobe malfunctions, or outfit choices. If you need ideas on what to wear, please ask for guidance at booking.
Retainer fees: Retainers/Deposit Fees are NON-refundable. Every session requires front end work, from chatting about my clients' wishes, location, planning, reschedules, and so on. The retainer pays for that work, and maintains that the time slot you booked is your's! Once a time slot is taken, it is unavailable for other clients to book. Please be aware of these situations. As a small business owner, it is important that I value my time, because I absolutely value my clients' time! If you book a session in advance, a retainer fee is required, and if the booking isn't confirmed and paid within 24 hours from the initial booking request the appointment will be released. Please check your emails!
On mini sessions, there is NO cancellations, NO reschedules, and NO refunds due to the nature of the session type. If the photographer (Niki Pickens) has to cancel or reschedule, adequate opportunities to reschedule will be made available. Please read the contract you sign at booking.
Events/Weddings: Require a 1/4th of total due at booking to hold date.
